Portraiture Workshop

Various portrait techniques will be taught in this workshop. We will discuss traditional portrait styles, industry trends, subject posing, and lighting techniques. Photographers will learn and practice skills that can translate directly into retail or commercial portraiture. Photographers will have plenty of opportunities to experiment on several techniques. The emphasis is on experiential learning and coaching of studio skills. David Cerven, the owner of Studio Altius, will be the instructor and will be on hand to give tips, suggestions, and coaching. Fee: $100. Please bring samples of your favorite portrait images (whether shot by you or someone else). Limit 8 photographers.
