Portraiture Workshop
Do you get nervous when you have to photograph a person? Do you feel like your portraits are too static and "posed"? In this four hour workshop, David Cerven teaches his unique portrait technique (combining traditional methods with his theatrical experience). We will discuss traditional portrait styles, industry trends, subject posing, and lighting techniques. Photographers will learn and practice skills that can translate directly into retail or commercial portraiture. The emphasis is on experiential learning and coaching of studio skills. David Cerven, the owner of Studio Altius, will be the instructor and will be on hand to give tips, suggestions, and coaching. Fee: $100. Limit 20 photographers.
